New Heights Youth Community Center

Fogarty Finger partnered with New Heights Youth Inc., a non-profit sports-based youth development organization in New York City to develop the full interiors, signage, branding elements, and art coordination behind their new home within the Major R. Owens Health & Wellness Community Center in Crown Heights, Brooklyn (previously known as the Bedford Union Armory).

The process involved engaging local makers and artists to bring the 6,250 SF space to life and honor the historic neighborhood and community. The team created the finishing touches to turn the interiors 114-year-old armory into a welcoming community center with basketball courts, after-school classrooms and offices, allowing an expansion of programming for thousands of underserved youth and families.
