Long Island City, NY
Fogarty Finger was engaged to convert this three-story factory in Long Island City into a modern, amenity-filled office building. A palette of predominantly black and white allows for the building to gain a sleek revamp while keeping its industrial character. The new lobby and café space serves as a social hub and connects to the surrounding environment via folding glass walls that open onto the street. The space features a 40-foot wide mural depicting a bird’s-eye view of Long Island City and the local streetscape, hand-painted by artist Pat Vale.
